This is the 1981 first pressing and sealed double live album of Rush entitled, "Exit... Stage Left". This original first pressing album is on Mercury Records SRM-2-7001. This is a tough album to find out there still sealed and in really nice shape, always has been. This particular 2-LP Live Set is a RCA Music Club issue. Overall in NM- condition and a tough find!
Tight sealed shrink all around complete album. Just a tiny hint of shrink split at the bottom left corner on back cover, but only from stress of a 2-LP set shrink wrapped. Very clean looking sealed set here. No holes, gouges, dings or stains to album cover. Good corners all around, just a bit tight shrink. Bottom right corner on back cover has the smallest hint of a microscopic "push", but (again) all due to the shrink around the tip and maybe 3/8" at most. Four vertical breathe holes going down the right side of the front cover near the mouth. All-in-all a very nicely sealed Rush LP in NM- condition.
I remember seeing Rush on so many of their tours in the 70's, which lead up to this massive tour from the "Moving Pictures" album. In my opinion, this is when they peaked the highest out on the road and with so much material to choose from. They truly were in a groove at this time. The album cover is a brilliant arrangement of images that captures previous album covers "come to life"! Just look at the images that bring back albums, such as: "Hemispheres", "Permanent Waves","All The World's a Stage", "2112", "Farewell to Kings", "Caress of Steel", "Fly By Night", "Moving Pictures" and "Rush". Such a tremendous album and it takes me back to the 70's and the beginning of the 80's in my mind. This is a fantastic find and a great sealed LP for your collection.
Believe it or not (I can't), this sealed beauty is now 37 years old. How time truly flies by...
I have described this total LP as accurately as possible and it will be a fantastic addition to any collector's records. I'm quite strict about my grading.
