Description

Original 10" Micro-groove LP.

Russ Freeman Trio-(Pacific Jazz -8)

Personell- Shelly Manne, Russ Freeman, and Joe Mo
review/info "This rare 10" LP has pianist Russ Freeman's first two sessions as a leader, music that has since been reissued on a CD along with music by Richard Twardzik. Teamed with bassist Joe Mondragon and drummer Shelly Manne, Freeman (who had a laid-back but sometimes hard swinging bop style) is heard performing four originals and four standards ("You Stepped out of a Dream" "At Last," "Yesterday's Gardenias," and "Don't Worry About Me"). At the time, Freeman was a member of Shorty Rogers' group (where he played nightly alongside Manne and Mondragon), a short time before he gained some recognition for his playing with Chet Baker's quartet. Excellent music. ~ Scott Yanow, All Music Guide C 2008 All Media Guide, LLC"
SOUNDS GREAT, no skips, really clean, VG.
A couple light scuffs, but sounds really good.
Sleeve had a small bend corner, but very minimal Ringwear (most is on front bottom area).
Sold as-is, no returns, this record is over 50 years old, but still in good condition!
from a smoke free - climate controlled collection.
