ORIGINAL RARE ONE FROM ACROSS THE SWAMP...RUST / COME WITH ME ON RARE COLLECTABLE HORZU LABLE SHZEL 59...VG(+) THIN JACKET HAS SOME WEAR AND SLIGHT CREASES...DISC SURPRIZINGLY NICE VG+- TO VG++...A PLEASURE TO LISTEN TO WITH ONLY THE MOST MINOR OCCASIONAL BACKGROUND..Rust is the real deal. Originally recorded in 1969, their album, Come With Me, is something of a lost mini-classic. originally released on the independent German label Hor Zu, and bringing it to light in the early 21st century. Great, psychedelic rock tunes are embellished with phased vocals, treated piano, samples of radio broadcasts, washes of organ, and electronic effects. Mind you, this isn't total freak out music, or anything. Songs like You Thought You Had It Made and Rust revel in blues licks, and rock with a genuine joy, even if the subject matter of their lyrics is somewhat pessimistic, and softer tunes like Please Return and the gorgeous Find a Hideaway are full of acoustic guitars and vocal harmonies. For a reference point, listening to it I hear a lot of The Deviants, with touches of the 13th Floor Elevators. It's melodic rock that likes to experiment. .MO..SOME LPS MAY NEED A SWIPE....I AM NOT THE ONLY ANIMAL LIVING HERE...IF YOU NEED TO COMBINE FROM ONE WEEK TO ANOTHER...PLEASE EMAIL ME....GRADING CVR/DISC (- AND +) VARIABLES FOR MORE ACCURATE GRADING)...MOST GRADES ARE VISUAL UNLESS SPECIFIED AS PLAY GRADED
NEAR MINT- (NM-): A nearly perfect record. No obvious sign of wear. Looks as if you just got it home from a new record store and removed the shrink wrap. Faintest, tiniest wisp of a hint of a suggestion of whiff of a sleeve mark allowable.
EXCELLENT: (EX): A superior record with no more than a wisp of a hairline, faint shadowing, or a superficial needle drag. None of these defects are glaring, and certainly do not affect play.* VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+): Played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have light scuffs or very light scratches that might slightly affect, but do not overpower, one’s listening experience. Very slight warps that do not affect play are OK.
* VERY GOOD (VG): Many of the defects found in a VG+ record are more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise is evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during the song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.
