Description
- From MU Records (no date or catalog number provided on jacket), this is an original US vinyl pressing - NOT a recent reissue - of the Rusty Cloud LP "Karuna." LP is a late 70's piano based spiritual jazz LP, featuring four songs: "Westering", "Karuna", "Peace, Rahsaan", and "Blessing." Cloud, who plays piano, is joined on this date by Jim Clouse (tenor & soprano sax, clarinet), Dave Scott (trumpet), Vince Prudente (trombone), Rick Kilburn (acoustic and electric bass), Tom Wailey (percussion, side 1), and Jeff Hirshfield (percussion, side 2). Jacket is EX (excellent), showing minor handling. LP is a shiny and clean VG++, showing some paper/surface marks. Play back is solid, while labels are crisp with no spindle wear..
