Listing Party Commentary: For those jazz purists that want an original copy, this is not for you. However, I can tell you as I have both the original pressing of this title and this outstanding, high-quality reissue, and both play identical sonically except without the noise. These Original Jazz Classics (OJC) differ from many reissues is that 90% or more titles were taken from the original master tapes and not copies from digital sources. Most OJC reissues sound every bit as good as their original counterparts. The gold label OJC reissues are now long out-of-print. They were limited edition, mastered with 180 gram virgin vinyl that sold for $8.98 and were generally a step-up from the OJC classics that sold for $5.98. Remember, those are 1980s prices!!!
Housed in outer sleeve to keep shrink intact!
All Sealed LPs and LP Box Sets are carefully packaged in corrugated boxes made specifically for LPs/LP Box Sets, with filler pads to protect the cover, plus the LPs/LP Box Sets are housed in clear plastic LP sleeves.
