RY COODER Jazz (MFSL 1-085) RARE Audiophile Pressing Japan MINT UNPLAYED!
RARE original Japanese first pressing of Ry Cooder`s classic "Jazz" on Warner Bros/MFSL Records (1978). First released in 1978, this specific audiophile pressing by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (MFSL) was released in 1984. As close as it gets to perfection apart from a sealed record, this specific copy of "Jazz" has probably never been played.
"Half Speed production and mastering by Original Masteringworks. Specially plated and pressed on High Definition Super Vinyl by Victor Company of Japan Ltd. Source: The Original Stereo Master Tape. - Perfect vinyl on both sides, with impeccable audio reproduction throughout.
- The record was originally bought as an investment. It has never been played.
- No hairlines, scuffs or any other signs of any previous play whatsoever.
- Original white MFSL Records labels with no spindle wear whatsoever.
- The matrix stamps in the run-off grooves read "MFSL-1-085-A 4 SR2 Ortofon" and "MFSL-1-085-B 3 SR2 Ortofon".
- This record is hereby fully certified to be the original Japanese first pressing of "Jazz" on MFSL (1984).
