RYCHUS SYN – PIC DISC EP US'89 “RYCHUS SYN” - 80's POWERMETAL 1000 copies only
This is a 5 track EP / MLP by U.S act RYCHUS SYN, released on the AZRA record label. Features the songs: Under Attack / Contents Under Pressure / Child Of Mercy / Power, Thunder and Steel / Air Raid // RYCHUS SYN play typical 80's U.S. PowerMetal with a slight, dark atmosphere. Think NASTY SAVAGE early years, mixed with JUDAS PRIEST with variable vocals, going through talk type modes and high pitches, crunching riffage and this omnipresent atmosphere.
Condition of the item:
Sleeve - no sleeve = picture disc.
Record (optical grading): Good (A-side)
Plays: A: Good / Fair with quite a few ticks and pops (mostly on the song Child Of Mercy), but no jumps. Production is a bit flat, but that is the recording. I HAVE GRADED THE BAND-PICTURE side of the disc as it holds the songs on both sides. The logo / image side has more pops and ticks and considerably more surface noise, would grade as Fair. NOTE: the arm of the record-player slides towards the centre of the record on the image side with a non-automatic return turntable, after the final grooves of the B-side.
This is a RARE PIECE, pressed in a limited number of 1000 copies. This figure has been cross-referenced with the band by myself.

GRADING AND PACKAGING:
I grade all records visibly and by listening to it. I try to provide as much detail as possible about the condition of the item; both sleeve and vinyl. As I have listened to each and every item I sell, I mention if there is any ticks from the moment the music sets in. Most records in general have a few little ticks in the beginning and ending grooves. I include a clear, poly plastic sleeve with all records, and all items are mailed in a cruciform, hard cardboard box with an extra stiffener for extra protection.
