THE COTTON CITY JAZZ BAND RARE LABEL RHYTM RECORDS LP3 EARLY 1960 LIMITED EDITION.
The cotton city j band has,since 1963, emerged as one of europe s leading new orleans style bands. it is most surprising to hear music like this played in a country like belgium and so proficiently played at that, but then belgium has had its share of touring new orleans musicians. George lewis, kid thomas, emanuel paul, kid sheik,capt john handy , barry kid martyn, have all come to belgium as guests of the cotton city band.what the band has learnt from these men can be heard on this record,wich is the first they have made.
