No, it is not at all in nice condition, but plays through on both sides,

and it is quite scarce.

With fiddle, guitar, nose whistle, mandolin, and jug, Whistler and

His Jug Band do "The Vamps of '28" and "Low Down Blues" on

Electric OKeh 8469. Buford Threlkeld (Whistler) does the vocal

refrain on both sides.

Recorded on April 29, 1927 in St. Louis, the record is in only V

condition at best, not much gloss, but plays through fine on both sides with some

isolated distortion. There are some B side internal lams and some

heavy grooves, but overall it plays better than it appears.
