A fantastic copy of this iconic 3rd single (1978) from Aussie legendary punk outfit Radio Birdman.
They certainly deliver the goods here with the jacked-up "Aloha Steve and Danno", a high-octane punk 'n' roll tribute to the legendary Hawaii 5-0 (and the show's two main characters, Detective Steve McGarrett and Danny "Danno" Williams) from the long-running CBS television series that debuted in 1968.
Taking The Ventures instrumental surf rock theme song for a wild ride (the big one) behind a frenzied drum roll and bad ass guitar work, Radio Birdman add their honorary lyrics, while kicking sand in the face of criminals, international secret agents and mafia hoods, with the fast 'n' furious "Aloha Steve and Danno"…. Great stuff !!
Anglo Girl Desire is lifted off their debut album ‘Radios Appear’ … all hail the Birdmen !!
CONDITION :
Vinyl Near Mint. No marks. Tracks along like new with no pops or skips or background noise. A bright, clear sound and as good a copy as one could hope to find.
