Description
This is a very important collection to any WWII enthusiast or Radio Historian.
There are two sets of airchecks in this collection.
1) Germany Declares War On Russia - Speech of Von Ribbontrop with runnin translation - June 22, 1941 1230am - 5 records
2) VE Day coverage - Surrender Proclamation May 8, 1945
These were most likely recorded on a presto home recording machine but they were recorded by a professional engineer so the sound is quite good. You may miss a few spots where they turned the record over but WWII airchecks do NOT turn up on Ebay often.
Especially with such historic importance.
Lot of 8 records in total
It also comes with a clipping out of a magazine . from 1941 about Hitler and Russia. It's VERY FRAGILE ad was taped together.
Solid E- to E condition. Airchecks off the radio recorded by someone who knew what they were doing. Loud and crisp. Some surface noise.
