   DESCRIPTION: Radiohead- The Bends LP.  "Later" 1st UK pressing with matrix numbers ending in -1/-1, red pound symbol in black circle on labels and large pixelated 0% on inner sleeve.  My own copy for many years until a very recent upgrade. Postage cost includes full insurance, tracking and a cruciform or box mailer. UK postage is special delivery.

CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/NM. Vinyl is clean with a deep dark sheen. Side One is pretty much immaculate, Side Two has 2 areas of scuffing preventing better visual grade.  Played all of this tonight. Sits flat on the turntable. Side One plays EX and better, very clear, clean and loud, sounds pretty much immaculate throughout including "Fake Plastic Trees". I would also say side B plays EX overall but it has a couple of soft ticks in "My Iron Lung" and at the start of "Bulletproof..I Wish I Was". The last 3 tracks play through loud, vibrant and clear including "Street Spirit (Fade Out)" Cover is in great condition, close to "as new". It retains great shape, is firm and square and has only minimal edge wear,  minimal corner wear and minimal creasing. Front and rear of sleeve are flat as a mirror.  Nice shape retained to very clean and fully legible spine. No ring-wear. Inner sleeve is NM, as new, absolutely negligible wear and obviously no splits. Super clean labels- check out the photos.  Side Ones label  has only 2 faint spindle lines, Side 2 has just 5 or 6. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. Excellent sounding and fantastic looking 1st UK pressing.

GRADING SYSTEM: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticibly deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades.
