SXL 6831 Brahms Piano Pieces
Released on the Decca label in 1978
The Vinyl LP appears in good condition – just a visual inspection as no kit to test it on. No obvious scratches.
The outer cover has signs of wear, the top seal has come undone and I have not re-stuck it (please see photos) and there is a small marked area top left hand corner. Radu Lupu has signed the outer cover. I worked in his manager’s office in early 1980s and asked him to sign this record when he came in. My name is inscribed on the top corner of the cover (see photo n). I absolutely adored this pianist but trying to downsize and, as we no longer play vinyl, it needs to go to someone who can appreciate it. This musician was notoriously reclusive and I think signed copies are rare.
