Spoken word comedy LP by drag queen Rae/Ray Bourbon accompanied by piano.

Rae claims that he/she was one of the first trans surgeries in North America. That was quite a claim in 1956 when such a thing was a spicy topic.There is speculation that the operation was a hoax. There is an entire website devoted to his many recordings and life history. Be sure to give it a read, as it's rather interesting to read about his struggles with alcoholism and the end of his career.


Vinyl- VG++. Fully play tested. Very minor surface noise here and there but plays very well.


Sleeve- VG++. Heavy duty cardboard sleeve similar to jazz titles from the mid 50s. Three small spots/stains on back cover near top edge. No drills, cuts, splits, etc. Front cover is great

~ Media items are shipped via Media Mail but we will only ship items using this option that are officially designated as Media.

~ Please be sure that you have provided us with the correct shipping address information as we cannot be held responsible for shipments delivered to an incorrectly provided address and/or returned. The shipping information we use is provided to us from your PayPal shipping info that appears on the invoice.
