Description
Timbalero and bandlear Rafi Val led his La Diferente band throughout the classic NYC salsa scene and developed a following. His sound indeed was a bit different than the cookie cutter salsa of the time, The sonero is the versatile Hector "Tempo" Alomar. Band members include Gilberto Colon-piano, Mario Rivera-bari sax, Cachete on batá and Papo Pepin on congas, among others. Coro is by Hector LaVoe, Adalberto Santiago and Rafi. Vinyl: VG, Side A has a very slight needle mark over track 3, side B has 2 very slight surface needle marks.none are felt by fingernail. no spindle wear, no spindle markings
Top, side and bottom edges all have some visible wear. There's a short seam separation on bottom at 6 o'clock position and the upper left corner also has a bit of seam separation. Front and back covers show some rub wear. On the upper right corner there is some slight tearing of the paper... there's a green ink x next to song 1 on side B See photos.....

Photos seen were taken with my cell camera, not the highest resolution, it's the actual LP but due to the new ebay size policy for photos, I had to enlarge images making them slightly distorted.
As a life long record collector, I protect and pack records very well before shipping using a traditional cardboard LP mailer
