Ramblin Jack Elloitt - Talking Miner Blues / Pretty Boy Floyd (UK Topic - TRC98 - 1956) Ex/Ex
Lovely clean copy of this fantastic 78 from one of Bob Dyan's great influences . I believe these songs were amongst the first ever recorded by Elliott as he had never previously recorded before he came over to the UK.
Original red and white Topix/WMA labels are clean with no damage or spindle marks and have the added bonus of being stamped "Workers Music Association, 11 Bishops Bridge Road, London W2" (their original address) both sides. The WMA was the organisation who released these records and Topic was initially a subsiduary. First release was in 1939 and Topic is still going strong 70 years later ........HAPPY 70TH BIRTHDAY TOPIC !!
Shellac is clean and shiny with no scratches or marks - looks unplayed !
This record comes from a collection that has been carefully stored unplayed for 30 years.
It will be dispatched in a strong cardbord cruciform mailer with extra cardboard and bubblewrap for added protection during shipping.
