Description
Ramones Leave Home Album with the Carbona Not Glue recording! This album has been owned by me since purchased in 1977 at Strawberry Fields Record Shop in Waukegan, Il with my newspaper money! May not mean much to you but that was THE place to buy records at that time!
I listened to Leave Home before listing it. There are minimal pops and hissing. Zero skipping!
The FRONT of the Leave Home cover is nice and smooth and presents very well. There is a slight hint of an album "ring" near the top on the cement pillar after the "S" in Ramones and a little shows near Johnny's shoulder/shadow. Other defects are corner wear as shown in pictures. The SA 7528 catalog # has NOT YET been replaced by the SIRE label in the upper right corner of this cover.
The BACK cover is almost as nice as the front. The album "ring" is in the same area on the back as the front, just a little bit more prevalent. Printing defects consist of two small (one smaller than the other) pinkish color dots. The larger one is about 1.5 inches above the Los Angles zip code and the smaller on about 4 inches diagonal/left (see photo). Also album cover wear is noticeable at the very top of the album jacket (see photo).
The SLEEVE looks great both front and back! There is a 2 1/5" in split on both the left and right side as can be seen in two different sets of photos.
The album will be shipped in a polypropylene album sleeve (next to last photo) and then placed in a plastic record top loader (third from last photo) before being shipped in a heavy duty cardboard to keep this gem well protected.
