Description
Riverside RLP 12227, blue and silver label, deep groove; Bill Grauer Production, mono. Side 1, 5 tracks includes Sam Gill, bass; Art Blakey, drums. Recorded in 1955. Side 2 has 1 track with the same personnel as Side 1 and 4 tracks of solo piano, from 1956 and 1 more trio track from the 1955 session. Cover: VG+ to mint(-). Shows no wear. There are a few numbers/letters stamped on the front cover. Minor aging on the back cover. Record: VG+ or better. Visually shows no wear. Possibly played only a few times. There is some occasional clicks and some that repeat. There are no sign of any scratches. In fact, no visual marks at all. Also some light crackles in a number of passages. This noise appears to be a result of the pressing, not wear. While the noise is audible and prevalent throughout, it is light. Audibly checked.
