Description

1977 Rankin/Bass complete original Hobbit soundtrack from Vista Records.  This is the Special Edition and despite the cover of the box stating it has 2 records, it actually has 3.  This is complete, containing:

  • Box - shows some color wear, especially on the edges.  Three of the corners of the top of the box are split.
  • Iron-on transfers - Still intact!  The transfers have bled some red onto the bottom of the box and one of the record covers.
  • Poster - folded as originally delivered.
  • Booklet - Complete and in nice shape.
  • Three records - Two are the story and the third is music.  One label on one side has some bubbling as can be seen in the picture. I see some marks and light scratches on a couple sides when I hold them at an angle to the light, but I cleaned them and played them all and there were no skips or repeats.  They played nicely.
