Marathon Record - 1920's rare label 7-inch 78rpm in original sleeve Marathon records were advertised as playing as long as regular 10-inch records (says so on sleeve) and advertised as "Marvelous Musical Miniatures" Produced by Nutmeg Record Corporation Has a great motto for a small record: "Why Carry A Clock When A Watch Will Do ?" (printed on sleeve) This 7-inch Marathon is one-sided . . . "Ice Cream March" - piano solo by Fred E. Hollweg - there is speaking about Ice Cream before the piano starts - Condition LOOKS fine, almost like new, but swishes and plays un-evenly - probably because thinner or narrower groove didn't react well to regular needles or styli. Original sleeve is in extra fine condition, also almost like new. Media Mail is $5.00, and not any differing amount that might erroneously appear within this listing.
