Description
This is a rare and important original record album by Lead Belly (Huddie William Ledbetter 1888-1949) recorded in 1939. Negro Sinful Songs includes five 78rpm records filled with songs criticizing racism, classism, and discrimination in general. The discography is as follows:

Dimensions: The album cover is 10 1/2 x 12"
Condition: In overall very good condition consistent with age and use. As pictured, there is wear, scratches and losses to the surface of the album cover. Dings and wear to the corners and edges. Damage to the top left reverse side of album cover. The records exhibit mild mildew spots, but seem to be free of deep scratches. We have not tested the playing quality of the records.
