Description
This listing is for a rare, original 78rpm 10" Shellac record of Judy Garland singing "Over The Rainbow" backed with "The Jitterbug" from The Wizard Of Oz.
This record was released in 1939 by Decca with catalog # 2672A. It's also part of catalog # DLA 1840, but only this disc is included for the listing here.
This is an original first pressing and not a re-issue.
The record itself is in fair to good condition for a shellac disc of this era with some dirt/dust along with some scuffs and surface scratches that has dulled the finish.
Overall wear is moderate but plays generally free from major distortion.
Surface noise is certainly there but not overly pronounced most of the time.
A thorough cleaning would almost certainly brighten the sound more though.
The label is in very readable and clean condition.
Please note that there is no picture sleeve included with this record, but it does include the original generic Decca paper sleeve.
