Description
It is New Old Stock from the 1940’s I’m thinking when the 45 records came in the 78’s were fazed out. This is a survivor that was not sold and not thrown away. It has not been played. The vinyl is like glass. The record sleeve is a little brittle from years of storage in the record box. I hesitate to call something mint but any flaws in this record came that way from the factory. I tried to show very close up pictures and you can zoom it to see for yourself.
I traveled in my job and collected records for years. I’m going through them now as time permits and selling my collections. Records. Guitars jukeboxes soda machines: cars trucks tractors boats guns gold and girls (oops no more girls folks). Lots and lots of things - I need to reduce the clutter. I always bought bigger buildings but I think it’s time now to down size !!!
Columbia record number 37990 by Willie (Long Time) Smith. Blues Singer with String Bass Guitar and Drum acc. States right on the label.
