Description
This is a very rare 10" LP record by Beverly Sills, one of her early recordings, which was commissioned by the architectural firm of Fordyce and Hamby to give to their clients for Christmas 1955. She was 26 at the time, The record is one sided, the back side has no label marks and no grooves. The one side contains the Christmas songs Gentle Mary, Little Christ Jesus T'was in the Moon of Winter Time, Cantique De Noel, and Bless This House. Jacket has the number 25 marked in red crayon upper right corner, and there are some tiny light notations on the back, at one edge. Otherwise, the jacket is in excellent condition. No cut through at the edges. The record is in excellent condition, no scratches or defects, looks like it was played just a few times. Note that the center hole shows no wear. The songs are beautifully sung, especially Bless This House, her voice so pure and full of emotion. Hard to find in any condition, nearly impossible in this near pristine condition. Ships at $4.00.
