I've been trying to give this one a new home with a buy it now with offer option, and lots of lookers.  So, let's try an auction. Opening bid is based on a way more whupped copy's opening bid. If this don't fly, it goes back in the pile.

Here is a fantastic clean copy of Neil Sedaka's RING-A-ROCKIN b/w FLY DON"T FLY ON ME on the original pressing label LEGION L45-133.  This is an original pressing of the 45 that was later licensed to Guyden.  This 45 was stored for years in a collection, and has had very few spins. I did play it and it plays quietly and strong. I comfortably grade it as EX but I it is probably NM to most collectors.  Labels on both sides are very clean with the only flaw being a tiny scuff on the B side above the catalog number on the left, which you can see in the photo.  I grade labels as EX.  All images are photos and scans of the actual record being offered. This is a rare survivor from a limited press on the small regional NY label. The tune is a zippy fast rock n roll rockabilly number featuring some very nice piano work and an unusual for the time biting guitar solo. And Neil's distinct vocals. If you collect scarce early rock n roll 45s, then please don't miss this one. If you're searching for a gem, here is one.
