Rare 1960s Auravision Sounds of Drag Racing Part 2 Funny Cars Gas Ronda AMT.
Here's a rare 6" (more like 5 7/8 x 5 7/8 inch) flex-disc on thick cardstock featuring the Sounds of Drag Racing Part 2: Funny Cars, featuring Gas Ronda. Recorded and published by Auravision, an activity of Columbia special projects and product of CBS Records.
The recording is around 3-4 minutes and includes interview commentary with Gas Ronda, famous funny car drag racer. Includes the sounds of Ronda's funny car engine revving and racing.
The disc is in good condition: the recording sounds very good and plays very good. The surface of the flexi-disc is in good shape: no scratches, scuffs or flaws. Since this is cardstock, the corners are dinged, but in good condition. A little bit of foxing is visible on the back.
A cool, rare item for fans of NHRA drag racing, funny cars, and funny car pioneer Gas Ronda.
