The Beatle's Sgt. Pepper's album, like you have never seen it before, this Taiwanese vinyl LP entitled "The Golden Hits By Beatls (sic) 67'" (I don't think there was room for the E) features the fab four in their Sargent Pepper's uniforms on the cover and all the songs from the original album listed on the back. This would probably be one of the earliest examples of record piracy and these types of records were sold very cheaply to American and Australian servicemen who were on R&R in Taiwan - my husband bought some when he was there in 1968. This record comes in good condition for age and type. The cover which is made of a lightweight cardboard is covered in a flimsy plastic, which is still intact though there are a few scuffs and tiny holes. The record itself, which was produced by "Large World" is in good condition though there is one scratch about 2.5cm long, which might interfere with playing (I don't have a turn table, so I can't check). I think this record will nevertheless appeal to the diehard Beatle's fan due to its eccentricity and tackiness.
