Description

Rare 1960's Garage Band Acetate? LP Recording "The Tempos". Serious 1960's garage band collectors take note! Very rare lp recording. WFC-595-A, WFC-595-B. My name is Jim Korn, singer/bassist for the 1960's garage band "The Outspoken Blues" and can verify all the information in this listing. I just found this in a box that I had in storage. This is my personal copy of a Lake County, Illinois 1960's garage band "The Tempos". Band members included Bill Kirchmeyer on lead guitar (Bill went on to form the "Outspoken Blues", Back From The Grave Vol. 8 "Not Right Now"), Frank Laurie rhythm guitar/singer, Dick Robards bass guitar/singer, John Jamnik organ (John went on to join "The Bryds", Back From The Grave Vol. 6 on Crypt Records "Your Lies") and Rick Finn on drums. There are 9 covers and "The Tempos" old break lick called "Authur". Side A--California Sun, The Lonely Sea, Green Onions '65, Johnny B. Goode and Caravan. Side B--La Bumba (notice spelling), Apache, Louie, Louie, Money and Arthur. I've played this on my turntable and it doesn't skip. There are a couple of pops, but nothing major. Sound quality is very good for being 42 years old. Visually the record has scuffs and scrapes but it has no effect on the sound quality. Any questions, contact me. Buyer adds $8.00 for shipping and handling. Items paid for by money order or Pay Pal will be shipped immediately upon receipt of payment. Checks will delay shipping 7 to 10 days.
