Description
You are bidding on an original USA recording from 1961 by the legendary great, king of rock-n-roll, Elvis Presley on RCA Victor Compact Single 33 (#37-7850). This extremely rare record is a 7 inch record that plays at 33 speed. The record industry recorded very few 7 inch records on 33 speed before they permanently adopted the 12 inch long play format on 33's and 45's on 7 inch . Elvis is featured on both sides with the Jordanaires singing the songs "Surrender" and "Lonely Man". This auction includes the rare picture sleeve!
The record is in VG ++ condition. (Light surface wear on the outer edges of the non-playing surface or it would have been graded even higher.) Outstanding shine and lustre. Excellent labels on both sides with no writing, tears, or stickers.
The picture sleeve is in VG + condition with visible signs of ring wear on both sides and a small price stamp on the "Lonely Man" side that has been neatly blackened out. No rips, tears, or other visible imperfections. A really nice clean copy of this rare Compact Elvis Single 33. I just recorded it on my ION record player and it sounds super! Low reserve price considering the rarity and condition of this record.
