Description

Very rare 1964 UK EMI/Stateside test pressing for Mary Wells classic Motown LP "Sings My Guy". This album was released on the back of huge success of "My Guy" in the UK and helped launch the Motown brand in the UK. This is an original single sided white label test press for the LP with the matrix SRX3185-1N consistent with pressings of LP SL10095. It has all tracks from side one of the LP including "My Girl" and her other Motown written numbers including:

He's the one I love; Whisper You Love Me Boy; He Holds His Own; My Guy; Does He Love Me: How (When My Heart Belongs To You)

 (side 2 were covers of standards). Vinyl also has Accuf Rose published stamp on side 2 label as shown (possibly publisher copy?). Comes in EMITEX sleeve but no other cover, as just a test pressing. Vinyl is EX to EX+. Cheap start price for this unique item.
