Description
Here are a set of RARE record cards from my collection offered up for sale: Lot of five 1964 "Record Cards", 6" X 6" greeting cards with 33 rpm cardboard records attached. These are circa 1964 made by Buzza Cardozo of Anaheim, California and recorded by Columbia Records. Each one has a unique story line printed on the back, recordings are original voices, a well cared for 50+ year old collectable set!
Three cards feature Alvin and the Chipmunks artwork, records with original voices of Alvin, Theodore, and Simon, as voiced by creator Ross Bagdasarian. Two cards feature Looney Tunes artwork, records with the voices of Mel Blanc.
All records are in unplayed condition with minimal blemishes, still attached to greeting cards and spindle holes are unpunched.
The greeting cards are clean and have bright colors, most with minimal handling wear, all text readable, no signatures or writing. A couple of them have some blemishes ~ The looney Tunes have a bit of shelf wear, Bugs Bunny with a light cover bend and a bit of plastic coming up at record edge, a few tiny spot stains near edges, Chipmunk one has a small sticker blemish/tear on front.
