Description
This auction is for a rare original 1967 Beatles Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band (mono) album.
This is a PMC 7027 original very first press yellow and black Parlophone label. The vinyl is near mint condition with only one very light small mark on the one side. The sound is mint – there is no skips or jumps in the audio.
Matrix numbers are XEX.637-1 XEX.638-2. Complete with red and white sleeve and the original Garrod & Lofthouse flipback laminated cover. The cover is near mint condition, has no splits or tears with very slight creasing with age.

Gradings: (*Condition is based on visual grading)
Mint - The record is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover & any extra items (inserts, etc) are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging may have slight wear and / or creasing.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, may have some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits.
