Description

Up for auction is the very rare 1968 Psychedelic Folk self titled LP by Gentle Soul on Epic Records #BN 26374. Visually graded using Goldmine standards, the vinyl rates a near mint with beautiful shine and just a hint of wear. The jacket is in excellent condition with Demo stamp on back and light staining near the bottom and some worn off picture on the from near the bottom as seen in the picture. Other than that, no seem plots or other issues. A beautiful copy of this hard to find record. DO NOT MISS OUT! Low starting bid and no reserve! Will be shipped in a sturdy record mailer with the record outside of the jacket within a protective plastic sleeve. Please see my other auctions for more rare vinyl.

GENTLE SOUL is a 1968 11-track LP which also features Ry Cooder, Van Dyke Parks & Taj Mahal. With a very psych/folk feel, produced by Terry Melcher [The Byrds etc], the album also features some dreamy orchestral instrumentation and Ry Cooder makes his presence felt on some very gutsy/bluesy tunes.
