Description
Up for auction is a rare original first pressing 1968 Psych 7 inch Ep by Mad River.This is on Wee label # 10021.Songs titled Windchimes on one side and has 2 songs which one is titled A Gazelle and the other song is titled Orange Fire.The cover has staining in corners and some bending but no splits Please look at pictures carefully.The 7 inch record has a very ugly pressing Flaw on the side with A Gazelle and Orange Fire.I don't know quite what happened when they pressed this side.I thought it may have gotten burnt but I inspected the flaw with a magnifying glass and I saw it still had the grooves right on top of the spot.The flaw is a raised large ugly bump with some scuffing on outsides of the bump.I decided to play the side and the record actually does play the entire songs but on the spot it makes a Noise every time it passes.Most of the noise can only be heard on the 2nd half of song 1 and the first half of song 2.It will play through although I'm not sure you would want to play it as it may wear your needle.The first song does play through but you have to move the needle slightly for it to play song 2 or it gets stuck between the 2 songs.The other side with the song Windchimes has a few extremely light scratches and also has a discoloration spot near edge which I have taken a picture of.Windchimes played very nicely on my record player.Has some groove wear on part of this song also.I don't know what this may be worth as it has the flaw on the record and also some staining on the cardboard cover so I'll start her low.Also if the buyer is not 100% satisfied I have a return for refund policy on all records I sell.Please E Mail if you have any questions.
