Up for auction is a rare copy of the 1969 Funk Psych LP "Maximillian" by Maximillian on ABC Records #ABCS-696. The vinyl is VG with nice shine and a couple of light surface scratches visually graded using Goldmine standards. The gatefold jacket is VG with moderate ring wear, light edge wear but no splits, a Promo sticker on back and the call letters to a radio station written in marker on the front and back. The inside gatefold is excellent and has the original inner sleeve. Maximillian was formed by three N.Y. based musicians who adopted much of the power trio style and line-up (bass, guitar, drums) releasing this sole album in 1969. Led by guitarsit Mojack Maximillian and produced by songwriter Teddy Vann, they deliver a soul bluesy infected psych-rock, full of fuzz and wah-wah distorsions and effects. The LP has meanwhile become extremely rare. Low starting bid and no reserve! Please see my other auctions for more rare vinyl.
