Description

Up for auction is the sought after 1972 original US white label promo for the classic LP "The Slider" by T-Rex on Reprise Records #MS 2095. Visually graded using Goldmine standards, the vinyl rates a near mint with beautiful shine and just a hint of wear. The gatefold jacket rates an excellent with no splits, very minor edge wear and a minor stain on the back cover. Comes with the original Reprise inner sleeve. This is a top notch beautiful copy not to be missed!!!! Low starting bid and no reserve! Will be shipped in sturdy record mailer with LP outside the inner sleeve. Please see my other auctions for more rare records.

The Slider is the seventh studio album by English glam rock act T. Rex, released on 21 July 1972 by record labels EMI and Reprise. Two singles, "Telegram Sam" and "Metal Guru", were released to promote the album.

The Slider received acclaim from critics, and reached number 4 in the UK charts and number 17 in the US.
