MAC MURROUGH

 Polydor 2908 014 Eire.


Very rare album by highly sought after Irish traditional folk band who were Paul Kavanagh, Mary ONeill and

Josephine ONeill. Produced by Donal Lunny of Planxty. Bothy Band and Moving Hearts fame.  It was only

ever released in Eire in 1974 in very small quantities, and has become a highly sought after disc by collectors

worldwide.


The sleeve is the usual flimsy card of Irish releases and there is some wear on the seams of the

cover. There is also some  minor ring wear, but this is common on these sleeves. Two small perforations to

reverse sleeve edge (see photo). The lyric sheet has some foxing to the reverse and one crease line (see photo).


The disc is in excellent condition and plays superbly throughout. It is shiny with virtually no marks.


This disc is part of my record collection but I never play it – a bit too acid/psych for me!!
