Description
Up for auction is a Rare 1st Press Lynyrd Skynyrd "Street Survivors" - MCA-3029 - Factory Sealed. This is assumed to be mint condition from factory. Corners are in great shape. This album has been stored upright for years in my collection. This was purchased years ago from someone in the industry that had a massive collection of rock and roll records and memorabilia. See pictures and grade yourself.
SHORTLY AFTER THE RELEASE OF THIS ALBUM, 3 OF THE BAND MEMBERS INCLUDING LEADER, RONNIE VAN ZANDT PASSED IN A PLANE ACCIDENT. AFTER THE CRASH, THE FRONT COVER WAS DEEMED TO BE IN BAD TASTE IN LIGHT OF THE ACCIDENT, AND WAS QUICKLY CHANGED TO THE MUCH TAMER "BLACK BACKGROUND" BAND PHOTO. THIS IS THE ORIGINAL FIRST ISSUE FLAMES COVER.
I am retiring soon and beginning to downsize my collections. I will be listing 100+ Vinyls in the next couple months. These are all from the same source and in nice condition.
