Description

This is such a cool record. Recorded December 16 in Chicago. Doctor Jazz is a popular tune and song written by Joe "King" Oliver in 1926.

Publisher Walter Melrose got his name on it as co-composer, as was often his practice. It features Jelly Roll Morton and his Red Hot Peppers playing Doctor Jazz, a stomp-jazz piece. The reverse features the Dixieland Jug Blowers performing Memphis Shake. Both are Dixieland styled tunes and in excellent condition with little wear. Buyer will include $5 for shipping. Thanks.
