  Rare 50s Rockabilly Bobby Helms Promo 45 Record Hear Listen to Tennessee Rock N' Roll Free Postage This auction is for a promo copy of the 1956 Decca Records "9-29947" single "Tennessee Rock N' Roll" backed with "I Don't Owe You  Nothing," by Bobby Helms. The song "Tennessee Rock N' Roll" is often included on Rockabilly CD compilations, and thus has become one of the better known or main-stream rockabilly numbers. 
This record has been examined under a bright light source and has been given an overall grade (audio plus visual) of VG+. This record displays some ultra light paper sleeve scuffs on either playable surface. There is a pale-pink focus that measures 2.5 by 1.5 cm near the center hole of the "Tennessee Rock N' Roll" side. This most consistent with a water mark, but is not obvious for a water stain. Also, on both center labels, it appears as though someone held a pencil above the record as it spun to produce concentric circles. These pencil marks are very faint. Keeping all of this in mind, this is still a VERY clean investment grade record. If you win this record and are dissatisfied with my grading of it...you may return it for a full refund.
