Description
In 1981, E.M.I., having had success with the 1978 so called "blue box" set containing all The Beatles' regular U.K. albums plus an additional L.P. with rarities, decided to put all thirteen E.P.s together in a similarly designed blue box as well (BEP 14). For this release, the extra fourteenth E.P. of "rarities" was made. The extra E.P. had no title, and had a unique catalogue number: SGE1. This is that disc.
This nameless E.P. contains the following: "The Inner Light" (the stereo mix, all previous releases had used a mono mix of the song), "Baby You're A Rich Man" (the true stereo mix previously released in the UK only on cassette and on a German album), "She's a Woman" (stereo mix,with Paul's count-in of the song; previously only available on an Australian album and on the World Records Beatles albums boxed set) and "This Boy" (reprocessed stereo, previously only available on Canadian and Australian albums and on the "Love Songs" album).
The overall condition of this disc in its original cover I have classed as VERY GOOD.
Apart from a short surface scratch or flaw on The Inner Light, the vinyl has minimal surface noise and would be classed as excellent. This disc rarely appears for sale in such good condition and is highly recommended to collectors and to Beatles fans who have just about heard it all- the stereo mixes on here are fascinatingly different from the familiar well-known ones!

"MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler."
