Description

Scarce Depression-Era - Longer Playing 78rpm - Charles Magnante & His Accordion Orchestra Royal Blue Columbia 18005-D Recorded August 15, 1932 Magnante's Orchestra plays two medleys on this scarce issue. "Medley Of Sea Songs" "Neapolitan Medley" ... see label photos for medley details
Hard-to-find release from this short-lived series of longer-playing Columbia records. There were only 6 records issued in this Columbia label series, and they did not sell.  When found, they are often in worn or damaged condition because they had narrower grooves to allow extra time, and when played with steel needles - especially used steel needles - they wore the narrow grooves more quickly than usual.
E+ condition - A beautiful copy of this Royal Blue pressing
Media Mail is $7.50 within the U.S. Postage Extra Outside of U.S., will be estimated and invoiced for England, Canada or Japan Please wait for my invoice before paying ...
NOTE - Another Royal Blue Longer Playing issue is also currently listed among my Other Items
