Description
This is a very rare audiophile test pressing, thick vinyl 2 lp set beautifully pressed on high quality see thru virgin vinyl. Labels are custom black and white There are 12 tunes, these sessions were recorded May 6 & 7 1980, with a release date of March 1982, it was to be called: URBAN BUSHMEN by THE ART ENSEMBLE OF CHICAGO. it was intended to be on the ECM label #ECM-2-1211. The cover is a thick gatefold with typed sheet on front. On it they show the matrix No. 2301 211 S1. Tunes are: PROMENADE : COTE BAMAKO I / BUSH MAGIC / URBAN MAGIC / SUN PRECONDITION II / THEME FOR SCO / NEW YORK IS FULL OF LONELY PEOPLE / ANCESTRIAL MEDITATION / UNCLE / PETER & JUDITH / PROMINADE : COTE BAMAKO / ODWALLA THEME . Sheet is in nice condition with no problems, Cover is plain white with only light browning and wear, no seam or spine splits, bent corners, etc. Both lps are in very nice condition, one is Mint looks like new, the other has only light surface scuffs here and there mostly on one side. I played excerpts from this lp they sounded clean and clear with no distortion or annoying background noise. I heard only a few soft occasional background ticks.
