Description
Offered here is a Promo only copy of Let There Be Rock by AC/DC on ATCO Records. This is a first pressing of the album with 'PR' in the deadwax. LP Jacket grades VG overall, Some areas of light wear and creasing as the pictures show. No writing or seam splits. LP labels are clean. Playing surface also pretty clean with some light scratches and scuffing. A little background noise in the intros and between songs but this album plays nice and loud. Would grade it between a NICE VG and weak VG+ overall.
GRADING SCALE:
NM = A near perfect record in every way. Record shows no obvious signs of wear.
VG++ = Somewhere between VG+ and Near Mint.
VG+ = Record has been played, but previous owner took good care of it. Record will have light scuffs or light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. VERY little to no background/surface noise will be heard while the record is playing.
VG = Light to moderate Background/surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's fade and intro. This background noise will not overpower the music otherwise, however. Groove wear and light scratches (deep enough to affect sound) will be noticeable. Still a nice record.
VG- = Somewhere between VG and G+.
G/G+ = Significant surface noise upon playing. Scratches and visible groove wear will be evident. Record will play through without skipping or sticking however.
Fair/Poor = Cracked, severely warped, with skips or sticks, or have obvious signs of HEAVY play. Basically it will serve better as a coaster than a record.
