Description
Rare AL BOWLLY with JIMMY MESENE on HMV BD-992. April.1941. This was to be Al Bowlly's very last recording two weeks after the recording session Al was killed in the blitz.The irony is in the title of side (1) song.
(1) WHEN THAT MAN IS DEAD AND GONE a reference to "Adolf Hiltler"
(2) NICKY THE GREEK HAS GONE
The record is in very good++ with a couple of very light scratches a couple of small very very light sleeve scuffs, nice gloss other than a couple of very light clicks it plays exceptionally well, is in dealers card sleeve of the period
