Description

Very rare 10 inch flexible pictue advertising record ( Werbungsplatte) issued by PRINTOPHON Schallplatten GMBH from Berlin for NEGRO cigarettes. Both side have same DECO style picture designed and signed by Andre Vlaanderen ( well known illustrator from The Netherlands).One side says under the NEGRO label "Barbary Nights", the other side says "Get Happy".THe record is marked:"Unverkaufliche Musterplatte" meaning that this record is a sample and not for distribution.That is probabbly the reason taht it looks like new.No date, but probably from around the 1930íes.Each side has recording of unknown orchester playing in the style of German dancebandmusic from that era.

As usual with this type of record it is a little warped, but  is good playable.
