ESQUIRES NOW - Have A Party / Get Ready (Trinidad TR-002)
Barbados, '70s
Vinyl is VG+ dead stock with some pressing marks NAP. Label on B-side has some wear / damage (see picture)
Possibly the best funk double-sider from the Caribbean. Fantastic record, Meters-esque heavy funk sounds.
Note on condition: this copy is an unplayed stock find, however as is sometimes the case there are some inaudible pressing faults visible, in this case some circular marks which I believe have come from the stamper. Visually this would probably grade a VG but it sounds near perfect, as it should do for an unplayed 45. As it stands I've graded it VG+ for these reasons. There is also some label wear due to storage conditions, as stated above.
