Description
Rare Harry Tally recording on American Odeon Record
Produced in the customary blue shallac, the record measures approx. 10 3/4 inches in diameter.
RPM 78, I believe
On one side we have 'Stella' 030980 the other side we have 'Coax me' 030981 The numbers on the end are printed on the label and also impressed into the record itself, although the labels with the numbers printed on them, have been put on the opposie side to the numbers impressed onto the record. Both numbers match, but just on opposite sides.
I believe to be dated around 1904/5, but please research yourself as I am not an expert
Great pictorial label both sides quoting 'music hath charms' and 'patents in all important countries' 'Imported'
Originally purchased as a decorative piece because of the blue colour and distinctive label.
I have never actually played it. The surface is covered in scratches as you would expect froma piece of this age and there is no paper sleeve.
