Very rare & limited edition (# 2214) of Contemporary S7532 by Analogue Productions APJ 010:
"ART PEPPER MEETS THE RYTHM SECTION"
Remaster of legendary jazz record, HQ 180 gram Super Vinyl
ONCE played for sound check after purchase in 1993, since then stored away!
Original release by Contemporary Records in 1957 this is one of a hell of reissue by AP, don't look further for competition of any version of that record made of vinyl (even the orginal pressing can't compete with this one!).
Record graded NM- (only downgraded from MINT since I had to unseal it for listening through to the LP once)
Cover NM-
Overall almost perfect collector's item!
I listen to the record before grading, both sides, no spot listening, both sides are judged for audio quality, flaws et al. All records cleaned 2-3 times (Kuzma washing machine) before listening starts, Nagaoka or MFSL rice paper sleeves for all records when put back into cover. Playback gear: Garrard 401, Ortofon AS-212 tonearm, Shure V15-III cartridge.
Please note, record noise can get even lower with more washing of record.
No return, private sale. But bid with confidence, my grading is conservative. Above all, no nonsense MINT gradings applied to records which are 50+ years old.
