WELCOME TO . . . PLANET EURODISCO
*** Both the front and back images of this rare Portuguese pressing 7" vinyl single along with A & B side labels are shown above and further down.
The item available here is a NEAR MINT and rare original PORTUGUESE PRESSING 7" VINYL SINGLE of the 1983 Eurovision song from STAVROS SIDERAS & DINA (aka CONSTANTINA) and the entry from Cyprus "I AGAPI AKOMA ZI (in the original Greek version as it was performed on the Eurovision stage). The other side features "LOVE IS STILL ALIVE", the English version of "I AGAPI AKOMA ZI". This rare single was issued by the Portuguese PHILIPS label (812141-7) and features a unique ORIGINAL PICTURE SLEEVE featuring a photo of the artists on the front unlike all releases from other countries which just featured the titles on the sleeve. This is a good opportunity to add a mint condition unique artist picture sleeve Eurovision 7" to your vinyl record collection, stored carefully for 27 years with the vinyl still in clean and shiny near mint condition ! The original picture sleeve is EX with minor creasing and edge rubbing and some ringwear on the back of the sleeve. The vinyl also comes inside it's original polythene protection inner sleeve which is how it was issued like most other Portuguese 7" single releases. The exact item I have on auction can be seen on the camera photos above and below and this is the only copy I still have left among my Eurovision stock so don't miss your chance to bid.
Back in the eighties and nineties I was quite well known among many Eurovision collectors around the world as I always stocked a large selection of Eurovision records and CD's and during the nineties even arranged and financed the official release to press some of the more rare entries for wider availability to collectors. I provided a Discography and photos of all Eurovision releases in the UK for RECORD COLLECTOR magazine and provided recordings and worked to get clearance for tracks on an official UK Eurovision CD release issued by VIRGIN. Due to moving house my Eurovision vinyl has been in safe storage for almost a decade. I have recently acquired back the very last copies of my Eurovision vinyl stocks. In many cases I am down to my very last copy of each entry, especially those in mint condition and I now plan to sell everything over the upcoming months, so keep checking back each week for new additions to my listings.
